Why The Right Motorcycle Clothing Is So Important
Light colours or reflectivity increase a rider’s visibility on the roads. Safe and sturdy clothing will help you stay comfortable while riding in adverse conditions. If there were a crash or spill to happen, high quality riding clothes will help prevent or reduce injury.
The Basic Equipment You’ll Need
Let’s start with the basics. What motorcycle gear will you need? You’ll need motorcycle boots, a helmet, motorcycle clothing (leather suit or motorcycle jackets and trousers), motorcycle gloves and any accessories you may need to keep your bike safe.
Motorcycle clothing: You’ll want to be comfy and safe on two wheels, so you can either pick a motorcycle jacket – this can be a leather jacket, and trousers or leather suit. XPF Moto have a huge range of motorcycle clothing to choose from. So, have a browse and see whether you’re a leather suit or jacket and trousers kind of person. Leather suits are more on the pricer side, but they’ll last an incredibly long time.
Motorcycle boots: we’d highly recommend using waterproof boots, road and race boots or casual and urban boots. Look for ones designed for comfort and safety. Our favourites are FURYGAN ZEPHY and MERLIN THOR.

Motorcycle accessories: Motorcycle chains, cables and disc locks along with audible alarms are all options when it comes to keeping your motorbike safe from theft. We would highly recommend both chains and disc locks for extra safety.
